Alt.Material presented their 3rd show titled 'Ductility' which we explored through a dynamic visual voice spanning digital and physical artefacts.
The exhibition explored material that can be drawn out into wire, capable of being hammered thin and has the ability to undergo change without breaking. Inviting leading and emerging creatives to explore how design can shape life through the exploration of materiality and fabrication -- 24 artists participated in a week long show reimagining our relationship to material and its adaptability. The show -- ultimately canceled due to COVID-19 -- was facilitated by Studio Edwards as part of the NGV Design Week 2020.
